Grand opening as the Egyptian Theatre in Charleston on April 15, 1925 with “Janice Meredith” starring Marion Davies (ad at left). The renamed Casino was not a big hit and the projectors were removed. For the final three months of operation Jan-March of 1931, it was all about wrestling and boxing (ads at right).
