Metro Fire Department are laying out their hoses and ladders to battle a fire at the Jolar Cinema on Lower Broadway in Nashville, Tennessee April 14, 1978 after the call came in after 5:40 p.m. when Jim Conley, a cashier at the theater, heard a noise pop in the front booth. Some of the business along the adult cinema are Gruhn Guitars Inc., Friedman Music and Loan and Western Wear, Al’s Pawn Shop, H. Brown and Co. Furniture store and the Mayfair Furniture store.
