This is an interior view of the organ chamber at the Grand Theater, Marion, IN. This organ was actually the third pipe organ in the Grand Theater, and was installed in 1925 following a fire that destroyed the theater’s small Wurlitzer. It was only used for a few years. The theater was closed in 1929, not making the cut for “talkies,” probably because of the small house.
