This cinema was my first stop when I visited Houston for the first time in 1989. I went to see the restored Lawrence of Arabia in 70MM/THX and if you look at this photo, you can see the 70MM tag on the marquee. When I moved to Houston in 1991, this was my favorite place for movies. When they installed DTS in the THX houses for Jurassic Park, no other cinema could complete for sound and presentation.
