Here is the August 17, 1973 Grand Opening ad for the General Cinema Valley View Mall Cinema I & II. The ribbon cutting ceremony did not appear to get coverage in either Dallas local newspaper, sadly. But the smoking loge and art gallery were nice touches for this theater that limped at the end of almost 20 years of business as a twin.
