Designed by noted modernist architect Cesar Pelli, the 1996 Celebration Town Cinema was immediately labeled by architectural pundits as an example of the Googie style of architecture. It is in fact a post-modern interpretation of the Art Moderne style of the 1930's-1950's.

Its two thin, round spires rising above the twin, rounded marquees that flank the theatre's entrance are a landmark in this planned community built by the Walt Disney Company as an adjunct to Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

This theater must do well if AMC is keeping a twin>>>>>>>>>

how many seats does each theater serve? I guess they're big. And the theater's been around for more than 10 years, and it's doing well because it has stadium seating, digital sound, and all the perks of a modern AMC theater. The only downside is that only two movies can be shown on its two screens.

AMC would have never opened this in 96 as a twin had they not known it would be a gold mine. It is also a stadium seating theatre. The town it is located in a owned by Disney so I am sure they had something to do with them putting in the theatre.

not only that, but once in awhile a Disney movie plays there, as is the case with the studio's newest hit "Enchanted". Same goes for Universal, which sometimes shows its best movies at theaters near its theme parks in Florida and Hollywood.
