The Federal Theatre was in the Cheung Sha Wan district on the Kowloon side of Hong Kong.

The theatre opened to business on 21st December, 1968 with a Mandarin language film "The Brain Stealers". It showed first run English language and Mandarin language films until its closure on 27th April, 1977.

The auditorium with 1700 seats was on the first floor of the theatre building. The ground floor was reserved for shops.
A residential building was built on the site of the theatre.
