The Cherry Creek 8 replaced the Cherry Creek Cinema 1 & 2 (it has its own page on Cinema Treasures). It was opened by Mann Theatres on August 17, 1990. Later Colorado Cinemas took over and eventually came under the Kerasotes banner. The theatre features stadium seating with rocker backs, digital sound, digital projection and shows first run attractions. In August 2015 it was taken over by AMC.
