Located in the centre of San Salvadore, the Cine Apolo originally screened regular films and vaudeville shows. It has a pink granite facade with an Art Deco style relief across the top.

It ended its cinematic life as an adult cinema. Since at least August 2007, it was in use as a church. In June 2009, it was in use as a hardware store and warehouse named Designs Metal.
