Tawas Drive-In. Kodachrome image taken by Albert S. “Al” Johnson on opening night in July 1952. The Tawas was the sixth known Michigan drive-in built by Al’s Johnson Construction Company.
This view shows the jeep that was used to set the speaker posts in place prior to final grading of the parking area.
