Paramount Theatres through its many subsidiaries (here Publix circa 1927 and later Interstate in Dallas) promoted “Take a Chance Week” to play films that it found nearly impossible to market in larger markets. The Palace – owned by Publix - promotes this year’s Take a Chance and patrons can’t lose because they will be offered their money back if not satisfied.
