Another photo from the Joe Basil collection. Joe managed the Sunset from about 1952-54 for United Drive-Ins, of which his father, A. G. Basil, of Raymond, WA was a partner. Concessionaires at the Sunset ca 1953.

Oh my goodness, I think that’s Larry Fisher in his younger days before he became the theater’s manager.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, Ken, but while searching to find a contact number for Larry online, I came across his obituary. I did mention that Larry served as manager of the Sunset. Larry passed away in 2018 at age 83.
