Deer Park Theatre

October 24, 1973, totally dissatisfied with original distributor Warner Bros 1971 handling of his film, writer, producer, director and star Tom Laughlin took back “Billy Jack” and re-released it himself. He four walled each theater to great grosses with most theaters running four weeks and some even six.

In normal distribution, theatres and distributors share box office money while four walling is renting each theater for a flat fee that would cover the theaters running cost while the distributor keeps all box office receipts. Theaters as usual get all concessions.
