“MAPLE DRIVE-IN was located in Indian Orchard, a crossroads village between Honesdale and Hawley. Marginal drive-ins are essentially large parcels awaiting more intensive redevelopment, especially by businesses requiring spacious parking lots like shopping centers and car dealerships. Opened in 1953, the Maple Drive-in closed in 2003, and was bulldozed for Wayne County Ford.”
