A poster on the left advertises the first Ansco Color film – MGM’s western starring Stewart Granger “The Wild North”, which screened in September 1953 at the Wintergarden. However, this colorized photo – courtesy of Townsville City Council Local History Collection – is identified as being taken in 1957.
