NEWBRIDGE, UK — The Miners Institute and Memorial Hall in Newbridge won their round in the BBC “Restoration” TV program and will go forward to the final. The winner and the runner up will be allocated the funds to enable a full restoration.

The Memo is a fully intact 1920s cinema (which is believed to have never been redecorated) on two levels above a dance hall. More info is available on the Restoration website.
