I have often wondered what to do with all my one sheets and 8 by10 stills, pressbooks and such when i pass on.I know i could sell them to collectors, but i thought it would nice if there was a place one could send all of ones collection to be taken care of and shown to the public. Most of my stuff would have ended up in the landfill had i not save it while working at various theatres.
Wish there was more of a story.
You right Mike I am going to leave my 1-sheets to my daughter who will know what do do with them.
I have a son SEAN, who did follow dad’s footsteps and did work a few years in the business,I guess he will take care of that even though i wasn’t happy the day i saw my"CLOCKWORK ORANGE" one sheet pinned up in his room.
At least he did not throw it away.
Sean has a love of theatres.More so than his brother and two sisters. He worked in the business for awhile running the booth, becoming Assistant Mgr,but found out he made more in the booth hourly than on salary. He later worked as a waiter in Dallas Texas at a cinema that served food, Tony Romo of the Cowboys left him a 50.00 tip for a couple of drinks, and that was after Sean told him he was a big FALCON fan. I told Sean he should have told Tony he was a big COWBOY fan,but he couldn’t.Go Birds.
