Free movies at the Baronet

ASBURY PARK, NJ — The Baronet-The Asbury Grindhouse will be showing to Back to Back movies at the Baronet theatre for FREE This Friday the 9th!!! Doors will be open at 9:00 pm come on down and grab some popcorn and a seat. Cant beat the price…..info @ Grindhouse Myspace Page

Were the films going to be in 35mm?
I think it is just terriffic that this theater has been saved. I used to work for Walter Reade theaters in Asbury Park, and was the assitant manager of all the theaters in the circle, Mayfair, St James, Baronet, Lyric, Paramont and cried for days when I was informed that I was out of a job when Mr Reade passed away and the company began it’s initial descent into bankruptcy. I was even the manager of the Carolton for a time in Red Bank. My heavens now that I am retired from a hospitality life, I would be interested in any type of a position that you might have available, especially booking, management, etc either at this theater or another that you might own or know of. Please let me know.
