Bring back the magic of the Drive-In and experience classic movies on Thursday September 20, 2007.

West Wind Drive-Ins would like to thank our customers for a great summer by offering a free movie night Thursday Sept 20. Come celebrate the great American Drive-In experience as summer comes to an end.

“We are thrilled with the turnout this summer and are looking forward to a great holiday season. We haven’t seen attendance like this in 20 years. We are opening up our Drive-Ins to thank our loyal customers and to invite all who have not experienced the Drive-In to give it a try,” says Tony Maniscalco, Vice President of Marketing.

Patrick LaCava, Senior Vice President of Operations explains, “If you haven’t been to the Drive-In in a while there are many new technological advances. Our Drive-Ins are now fitted with the new Technalight System. This new technology produces an image that is seven times brighter than a conventional projector for a picture that rivals any conventional theater. In addition, the movie’s audio is now transmitted via an FM signal through the speakers in your car.”

Movies being presented include E.T., Grease and Wayne’s World.

I’m jealous! The LA area is clinging onto 5 remaining drive-ins and and only one of the 5 have done a Classics Night like these are doing. Boo!!!

We’re hoping to re-open the Santa Barbara Twin Drive-In at some point, hopefully you could make the rediculously long trek next year.
