PHILADELPHIA, PA — One of Philadelphia’s few surviving movie theater buildings, the Wynne Theatre,seems to be at threat of demolition by a redevelopment authority. This message was circulated:
The Wynnefield Overbrook Revitalization Corporation has invited participation in a Community Task Force “for the redevelopment of the Wynne Theater site….”
An open meeting has been set on September 9, 2009 at Saint Joseph’s University (175 West City Ave, SJU External Affairs Conference Room.
