Searching for investors for new theater company

posted by MattKCinema on August 2, 2010 at 7:45 am

I am trying to start my own movie theatre company, by acquiring locations that are mismanaged or neglected and renovating them with the latest technology and amenities to increase their profits. The company will be based in California and I am already in negotiations for 1 location there with several other prospects in California and Florida.

I have come up to a road block with my funding, and I am looking for investors. If interested, please and I will respond to you as quickly as possible.

Thank you for your time

It’s a tough market to get into especially if you have no prior experience.
You really need to get professional advice from movie cinema expert and remember “location, location, location” is most important as well as good foot traffic, buses and parking availability.
One other important requirement is a reputable and well seasoned film booker. Check-out San Francisco’s single screen CASTRO THEATRE -they really have a winning format and L.A. based agency.

Although it is a tough market to get into, it is possiable to build a working portfolio of properties. I have spent the last ten years in this industry putting properties back together. I have worked in Florida on several properties, and would be interested in talking to you about your plans. 865-300-1031 Leave a message
