ORANGE COUNTY, CA — The OC Register looks at the three best theaters in the county, according to them. No classics but still some of the better megaplexes.

The early Edwards Theaters always had the most wonderful Neon marquees… which is what the cinema business was all about. Photos of past NYC cinemas are simply magnificent. I wish there was a publication dedicated to this subject.
All three theatres they chose are excellent modern megaplexes, but I wish they would have tried thinking outside the box and created a more interesting list. There is quite a varied and colorful landscape of theatres in Orange County, offering more than “located in a popular shopping destination”, “top grossing”, and “featuring (insert stock list of modern amenities)”.
