Because there’s already downtown a stadium seated megaplex (the Regal Gallery)for mainstream movies & the Landmark F Street downtown for arthouse movies, it makes no sense to me to have movies in this arena, too.

Oh, cool. I’ve always wondered what this building was. I’ve passed by it several times while on an Amtrak train pulling into Union Station. I’m sure it would make an awesome venue.

S aw many shows there like Ray Charles, the Motown Review with Stevie, Diana, The Temps etc, Shower Of Stars of 1960, 61 etc. Also the Ice Capades and Bob Dylan just after he went electric. The Uline reminds me of my hometown Arena “the Boston Arena” now a completely renovated Sporta Arena for Northeasten Univ. caLLED Matthews Arena. Dont make Uline into a Cinema, Return it to Sports/Entertainment complex and bring in Acts that need medium scale seating.

Slight chance this could make it as a sports complex since the district is still at a lost as to what to do with the RFK Stadium and even less of a go as an entertainment complex (note the rapid demise of the elegant multiplex that neither AMC or an independent operator could find an audience for.
