House lights to dim on Stadium Theater

JERSEYVILLE, IL — A mainstay in downtown for over 60 years, the Stadium Theatre will be closing later this week. The twinned theatre has seen many owners over the years, most recently AMC. However, like so many of their theaters lately, due to under-performance, they chose to close it.

what a sad story,once again the public led to these monster 20 plexes by a leash.Theatre business is gone in my book, folks.
