Tropic returns to downtown

LEESBURG, FL — Downtown Leesburg is excited because of the reopening of the Tropic Theatre. Veteran owner Russ Brannan has spruced up the place and with lower prices than local competing mall theaters, it should provide a well-welcomed entertainment option.

Great news! Good luck. I love to see old closed theatres reopened. When it’s convenient, come check out the Garden Theatre in Winter Garden, which reopened over three years ago.
Great! and $6.50 ticket price can’t hurt.
This theater has not reopened yet. According to their website and recorded phone message, there are unresolved code issues and legal matters that are delaying the opening.
