ST. LOUIS, MO — The Avalon Cinema is no more. After years of fighting between the city and its neglectful owner, the theatre finally saw the wrecking ball last week.

This is quite sad, indeed. The Avalon Cinema looks like it was a beautiful theatre, both inside and out. Another one bites the dust.
