Tyrone Township man wants to open shuttered Fenton Cinema into entertainment center

FENTON, MI — There are suddenly lots of possibilities for the Fenton Cinemas, which closed just over three years ago. The potential new owner wants to turn it into an entertainment center with each room having a different focus, from live DJ’s to a hookah lounge.

I would rather see an established theater operator run the multiplex, but it would need major renovations first.
