Stone Age movies revealed

For all those cinemas claiming they were the first “movie theater” it may be time to give up that distinction. Archeologists in France have discovered cave paintings that use animation effects to convey movement. Seen in succession, these images provide a movie-like experience.

In the black and white intro to “THIS IS CINERAMA”, it seems to me, I remember Lowel Thomas showing cave paintings like those mentioned above in his talk about the history of motion pictures, that was in 1952!
