Carmike to open new “BIGD” theater in Myrtle Beach

MYRTLE BEACH, SC — Carmike is building one of its signature BIGD theaters at Broadway at the Beach this month. The wall to wall screen will now make for 17 at the complex.

Avoid this theater at all cost. Just saw Expendables 2 there the picture is horid . They are using the wrong size projector the picture is dark dark and as grainey as a 35 mm print playing 15 weeks.
This is an IMAX theater conversion …… Not good!
Leave it to the powers that be at Carmike Cinemas to really kill off a good IMAX Theatre Conversion.
