Record year at the movies

For the first time in three years, movie ticket sales were up this year with a total of $10.8 Billion. Analysts are predicting an even bigger year in 2013 with entries from franchises such as Thor, Superman and the Hunger Games.

Does this mean we’ll get at least one year where the media stops saying that tv, cable, internet and pirated movies are going to end the movie going world as we know it?!

Nope. Because it was accomplished by inflated 3D/LIEMAX gimmick pricing at big city cinemas.

Audiences are fed up and it is a recipe for disaster.
