Champaign Art Theater celebrates 100 years

CHAMPAIGN, IL — The Art Theatre turns 100 today and they’re staging a variety of events to celebrate including a screening of a new documentary about the theatre and a chamber music ensemble performance. A story in the Daily Illini discusses how it’s managed to survive all these years with stints as an adult movie house and now as a successful co-op.
