Baltimore’s last adult movie theater closes

BALTIMORE, MD — The Apex Theatre could return to legitimate usage now that it has closed as an adult theatre. There are no announced plans for the 1942 gem but the owner is open to renting it out.

Surprised it lasted this long, considering they haven’t put out adult movies on film since the early/mid 90’s.
An adult theatre in Niagara Falls,NY stayed open until 2001 showing DVD’s.
Two remain in Los Angeles- the Tiki and the Studs. I lived n Baltimore in 2001 and remember hearing about the Apex but didn’t know anyone who went.
