Group out to revive town movie theater

LEONARDTOWN, MD — Friends of the Leonardtown Theater has been established to save the New Theatre. They hope to get the state to make the area an arts and entertainment district so they can receive incentives for investing in bringing back the theatre. They intend to show a mix of independent, foreign and classic films there.
