Historic Howell Theater officially closes

HOWELL, MI — After 85 years in business, the Howell Theater closed last week. It will reopen next summer as the second location of the Root Restaurant. The theater, Livingston County’s last, will have one final benefit screening of “Back to the Future” on August 13.
