Hardacre group buys Tipton theater

TIPTON, IA — The future is looking brighter for the Hardacre Theatre following a successful fundraising campaign. The Hardacre Theater Preservation Society brought in over $100K so they could purchase the theatre but they still need over a million to make necessary renovations to keep it going. However, the main takeaway is that the public wants the theatre to stay open (and will contribute to make it a reality).
