You aren’t the first kid to ever sneak in a Theatre.I have caught my share and sometimes if it was some crappy G rated flick,I didn’t care as long as they were behaved. It wasn’t going to break a studio. I bet my theatre partner Tlsloews even let a few kids in.
Can’t believe any one in the theatre business that really loved it would pull a stunt like PHIL MAGGIO wrote. You can bet neither one of those clowns is on CT.
Funny thing seat slashing must be a California thing. Worked in five theatres 2 single screens, 1 twin,1 triple and one Quad, and that is a lot of seats .but you know in the seven or eight years i worked in a theatre I can’t remember anyone ever slashing a seat.Sad comment a theatre owner had policy no kids under 16 without parents, bet he lost a ton of money.I bet the real truth was he didn’t want a bunch of kids running crazy in this theatre!
strange policy about showtimes.I have seen small town theatres have like a 4:00 show then go into the evening shows, but no evening shows during the summer, don’t see how they do it.I guess someone got wise and started evening shows at last.
When"Planet of the Apes" played in the late 60’s I was told one employee dressed as a gorilla and greeted folks as they came to the movies.I hope to get other stories on about the Joy Outdoor Cinema or Joy Drive-in,whatever you want to call it.
I can’t believe they ever played “EARTHQUAKE” at a twin theatre, but have read several places they did with sensurrond.Must have ruined the other movie.
Don’t remember ever using girls as doormen at my GCC,unless they were giving the doorman a break, plus i never could find a girl yet that could tear tickets as fast as a guy and say"thank-you,hope you enjoy the Movie" 900 times a night.
thanks S.sam.
Hard to believe it played 12 weeks even 25 years ago.People up there must really like Michael J. Fox.
Thanks J.B.

Thanks raymondstewart.
Hard to believe it played in two twin theatres unless they were tiny theatres, but in those days Twin theatres were pretty decent size.
The Mall 1 and 2 are gone. due mall expansion.
Bob,My cousn Ray says it was a MARTIN Theatre in 1975.He thinks the theatre might be torn down.
Not much of a movie theatre.

Hey,I want to be a part of a GCC society I worked for them as an assistant in two GCC theatres in Augusta and Athens Georgia, both on CT.
Europe has some truly beautiful movie Theatres, hopefully folks there don’t come to the movies in torn shorts and tank tops.
