This weekend 12 strong is in Imax while jumanji continues its streak in dolby. I wonder when AMC will upgrade it to dolby 3d.

This theater is being renovated according to their facebook page. 6 of the 12 screens will have recliners and dolby atmos.

The reserved seating for imax at AMC is necessary because it’s quite popular along with dolby cinema.

During the showing of last jedi in imax when the movie started the lights were left on so some moviegoers addressed management to turn it off which they did!

Star wars is playing only in imax and regular while the commuter is in dolby. Looks like black panther is in 3d and regular but not imax.

20 years ago this theater was being built by moving the old empire to the side to become the lobby and the rest is history.

I think amc needs to upgrade the imax projector along with the seats since its been almost a decade since the conversion.
