Originally a twin, the bigger theater was split. THEN Theatre 3 was split again. The upper level was 3 and 5 (tiny) the lower level (affectionately THE DUNGEON!) was #4. 😍😍
Concourse Multiplex 10 in West Bronx and AMC Bay Plaza 13 is all that’s
left…At one time the hood had over 100 theatres AND a drive in on Bruckner! Shame really…😳🥺😪
UC Theater in Berkeley (Bay Area home of The Rocky Horror Picture Show) would havs the same thing! 😍😍 calendars and all! So would the notorious Strand (crack den) in SF. Movies would change every other day! LOVED IT! I saw most Fellini movies that way as well as the weird Thundercrack Lady Frankenstein and The infamous Caligula! Good tmes! 😇😇🤩🤩

You talk about big! Most of these theaters in Califonia were affectionately called Caves! Raked not stadium seating. Curved not flat screens. Curtains. Ushers at all exits. Concessions, bx office and restrooms in their own islands.
BTW Fun Fact: Ray Syufy was SO greedy, he kept expanding the Cinedome Orange to 11 screens! Red Rock was owned by him also…Also the Original Century 21 dome was across the street from the notorious Winchester Mystery House (stil there). As the ghost of Sarah Winchester said “KEEP BUILDING!” and so he did!🤣🤣🤣😍
This one had a long driveway (think Fairyland in KCMO). It is much further south than the old highway. Look for remains/skeleton. You can tell it was a twin!🤩🤩🤩
