Who ever owned the land it was on maybe knew that it was to be redeveloped and ran a drive-in till they got a good offer for the land and said I,ll take it.The cities love homes to collect much more taxes than a drive-in could bring in.

Some of these Reverse Cinemas had two entrances or more so you did not always walk in,in reverse as they say,such as the Hippodrome Theatre Nashville,Tennessee was like that.

Very good chance GM,as this theatre was new then and looked new and clean in the photos.And to Joes post the Melrose Theater a.k.a Loews Melrose and the Belle Meade Theatre were designed by Marr & Holman.Both of these theatres are listed on C.T.
