John Bugg, Projectionist told me this story, one night after closing, the manager, who John said was on “THE CRAZY SIDE"saw a car slip in.The manager went out on the lot to the car, fired a handgun in the air, scared the you know what out of three boys,hogged tied them in the back room of the concessionstand,until the movies ended. TRUE story,Can’t make this up, guys.
riausche,good info on the doors, i always thought Daniel Village needed them, while at National Hills the concession was for enough away.But on busy nights we would rope off the lobby and fill it up,which would have ruined anyone watching the movie from the noise.
Was hoping it was the Third Drive-in in Newport ,Tennessee i have been trying to name.

Couldn’t find anything on it in my 1956 Motion picture Almanac.
