On April 27th, 1962, this became the first cinema in the Atlanta area to show adult movies on a full-time basis. It was billed as the Kirkwood adult theatre.
Listings for this drive-in started to appear in The Atlanta Constitution from July 1954 onwards. It may have been opened before, but someone will have to check the Conyers newspapers.
