Cinema Salon Rosa is located in the Havana neighborhood of Cotorro. Here is some trivia about the construction of this theater: The land where the cinema was erected, belonged to a Mr. Fermin Ordonez, he allowed the construction to go on, under two conditions: 1st,the name of the theater was to be Salon Rosa, in honor of his only daughter. 2nd,After 10 years of use,all the rights of property will be his {sole owner of land and building}. The 1st condition was easy to meet, it is still the name of the building, now the 2nd condition was made impossible by the triumph of Castro’s Revolution, when he intervened all private properties in the Country. Truth or Myth ? I don’t know, but still interesting enough story to be mentioned.
