Kubrick’s “2001: A Space Odyssey” most definitely was not playing here during July of ‘68. During that timeframe the film was still playing its exclusive Southern California roadshow run at Warner Hollywood aka Hollywood Pacific.
I worked here during 1994. I wish I had thought to take photographs.
This venue needs an entry created for the Cinema Treasures database. The entry for the original Lakeside erroneously implies this lakeside was constructed on/near the site of the original Lakeside when in fact it was located miles away at other end of town.
Do any Pacific Northwesterners recall/know the date(s) on which 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY played here circa 1992 when the venue was known as the Cinedome Cinema 150?
