What makes everyone think this theater is closing? For years it was reported that the Cinema 1,2,3 3rd Ave was closing and here it is 20 years later and it’s still open

We have one AMC here in Asheville NC that was a former Carmike Theater. I haven’t been there in years because the GM is a witch. Looked into tickets for last Saturday because it was closer for where I was that day. There prices are $3.00 higher than Regal and Cinemark and our three local chains. Didn’t happen
Were you able to confirm this theater is open? It still shows showtimes. That’s bad for Regal. They are in bankruptcy. I bet those theaters never reopen

As of a few weeks ago the Thunderbird in Ft Lauderdale was also closed. It said for renovations.
I saw The Broken Hearts Club there in September 2000 whemn I visited NYC

The Fort Lauderdale Drive In Movie Theatre is currently undergoing renovations.
I hope they keep that amazing Marquee
Does this theater have 1.85 flat and 2,36 scope capabilities?
Oh wow what awesome news Luis
I went there once and there was a fight between two old guys because one said the other butted in front of him. Ridiculous scene. Cops and all
I asked way back and nobody answered me. Did this theater with the large screen have true scope and flat presentations?
Actually the screen upstairs in 2 was much larger than the downstairs. The old Orpheum was almost identical
This is awesome news.
No I lived there and thought it was stupid.
Would be nice if Look Cinema took this over
I really hope LOOK considers reopening the Tara 4
Update status to closed UGH
Regal is on a roll today closing theaters UGH
How sad. This is an awesome theater
Unbelievable AMC is little by little selling off the theaters they took over from Carmike
How did they survive closing a few weeks after they opened
Update to open
