The Westwood Cinema 1 & 2 first opened its doors on December 22nd, 1972, under the ownership of the Carrols Development Corporation. Later, it changed hands and was taken over by CinemaNational on February 1st, 1974, followed by United Artists in 1976. Grand opening ad in photo section.
