Never Heard of “THE HITTER” and I thought I had played every black film made [1974-79} at the IMPERIAL in Augusta.Wonder if the film had a title changed?
Frank,I hope some of your old gang comes together,We have been able to keep tabs on many of our ABC THEATRE and PLITT THEATRE employees here in Augusta,Ga.About once a year 10 or 15 will gather for"OLD DAYS".I hope more Ex-theatre people are doing this.Because now with these lousy 20 plexs no one knows any one anymore you can bet on it.
I am starting to think in “those Days'"there wasn’t much difference between the Chains,My city manager showed up about like yours.stayed out our hair and pretty much left Tommy Capers and me alone since were House managers,Still a fancy word for Assistant Manager,The pay wasn’t any better.$2.50 an hour at Columbia Sq.and weekly Salary at GCC.Me and a couple of other Assistants figured out the time we put in on GCC salary was about $1.25 an hour, sad. But we all loved it and when a Theatre Chain has managers like that Hollywood Shines.I don’t give a Damn what anyone says!!!
