This theater will be playing its last show the night of Thursday, May 4th, 2023. Just shy of 29 years of showing movies.
Looks like it had a recliner reseat about 7 years back or so, the final seating configuration was as follows (using Regals seating charts on their website):
Aud 1 - 110
Aud 2 - 54
Aud 3 - 54
Aud 4 - 37
Aud 5 - 37
Aud 6 - 54
Aud 7 - 54
Aud 8 - 107
Total - 507
Someone please correct me if I am wrong, but I believe this was the last 16-plex AMC built (as of 15 years later in 2023).
There’s a handful of theatres this size that were built more recently that AMC has acquired, but all AMC builds post-2008 that I can find seem to be a 12-plex or smaller.
This was the very first AMC Theatre to install recliners back in early 2011 as an experiment. The attendance more than doubled in the 18 months following the full conversation, it was so successful AMC refers to it as the “The Miracle of Lakewood” on the history page on their website and can be attributed as a big reason AMC committed to reseating so many theaters to recliners over the past 10+ years or so.

Not sure exactly when, but it appears this theater permanently closed down at some point in the last few weeks.

Regal will close this theater as part of their bankruptcy proceedings. The last showing will take place at the end of Thursday January 26th, 2023.
A pity, looks like Lincolnshire 15 had an impressive IMAX screen and a fairly new recliner reseat.
Shut down this last Thursday (10/27/22) as Regal undergoes their Chapter 11 Bankrupcty proceedings.
