This theater opened November 20, 1998 as City Park 20 by Regal Entertainment. It has stadium seating and an IMAX theater. This theater is known for showing independent films. It was closed on .January 26, 2023 due to Regal/Cineworld folding.

It actually has 21 screens, and it’s official name is Regal Cinemas Lincolnshire Stadium 21 & IMAX®…

Lincolnshire’s IMAX is one of the few “True IMAX” in the area, with a 54 foot high screen. Navy Pier’s is 60 foot. Woodridge is 50 foot. Addison’s was 52 foot.
This opened as CityPark 20 on November 20th, 1998. Its grand opening ad for this cinema and the Rollins Crossing 18 (quickly renamed Round Lake 18) can be found in this cinema. It had 4,400 seats at the time of the opening.
This theater has officially been renamed Regal Lincolnshire Stadium 15 & IMAX.
Regal will close this theater as part of their bankruptcy proceedings. The last showing will take place at the end of Thursday January 26th, 2023.
A pity, looks like Lincolnshire 15 had an impressive IMAX screen and a fairly new recliner reseat.
