To advertise that this theatre was the first theatre in the USA to have a non mez theatre it totally faulse. Premiere Cinemas built the first one in Bessmer Alabama and the second one in Spanish Fort Alabama almost two years ago.
This Drive In has been headed down hill for many years. They have done nothing to take care of it or to bring the people in. They have used it for a cash cow for thier other theatres. That tower has been falling apart for years . Now they want people to buy then a new tower so it is no money out of thier pockets. Do like the rest of us do go to the bank or let some one else revive this Drive In. It is a sad day for Tulsa and Oklahoma.
I remember seeing this picture at the Capital Theatre in Grand Island Nebraska in late September and we stood in line 4 wide all Sunday afternoon to see this picture They had a small shark tank in the lobby This theatre seated 2200 if I remember right
Gosh Get along work it out for as long as you can because the day of Digital is coming and then they really won’t need you We have fired every button pusher and projectionist in our circuit because of digital
I agree Joel. I remember the day when the Dickinson brand was the flag ship theatres in Kansas City. How sad
