Hello, This is Cathy sexton, I posted this info. and it is not the Alaska theater, it is The Airport One theater, Wasilla, Alaska..Just in case someone out there is wondering.
The centre theater was first in anchorage where the centre bowl is now and then in palmer..My parents managed the palmer theater until they had the airport one theatre in wasilla built..
I fanyone has photos of the palmer theater, please do post them..the link provided here is'nt coming up.
My family and I knew the hanby’s. My sister worked briefly there at the snack bar..I spent many a summer night watching movies there. I have great memories of that theater and of the hanbys..thanks so much for the photos..
A few yrs. ago, I came to this site and found a photo of the sellwood theater before it became the sports store. I can’t find it now.
There was a# for the photo if you wanted to order a poster, print etc. but now, no such photo.
ThePoster # was OR 137.
Any chance you have it someplace still?
My parents ran the sellwood theater from the late 1950’s until 1962.
I’d love to find that picture again.
thank you
cathy Sexton
